Terms

These terms cover website builds, care plans, monthly plans and the AI chat assistant from Tradie Web Shed. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

The build

  • The build fee is $990 for a website of up to 5 pages, including copywriting, local SEO setup, Google Business Profile setup and a review kit, as described on our packages page.
  • You pay the build fee only once you've seen the finished site and approved it. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing for the build.
  • Extra pages and features outside the package are quoted upfront and only done with your OK.

The 48-hour guarantee

  • We'll have your site built and ready for you to review within 48 hours of receiving everything we need: your business details, services, service areas, licence or registration number, logo (if you have one) and photos.
  • If we miss that, your first 3 months of the care plan are free. On Website + AI chat, that's $99 off each of your first 3 monthly payments.
  • Weekends and public holidays don't count towards the 48 hours. Delays caused by third parties are outside the guarantee: for example Google's Business Profile verification, domain transfers waiting on your current provider, or DNS changes.

Search results

We set your site up properly for search, but no one controls Google's rankings. We don't promise any particular ranking, number of calls or leads.

Care plan

  • The care plan is $99 a month and starts when your site goes live. It covers hosting, domain renewal, security and backups, and small content changes.
  • There's no minimum term. Cancel with 30 days' notice and we'll hand over your site files and domain.

Monthly plans

  • Website + AI chat is $249 a month with no build fee. It includes the same website build, bonuses and guarantees as above, the care plan, and the AI chat assistant. Your first payment is due only once your site is live and you've approved it.
  • The AI chat assistant on its own is $149 a month, added to your existing website, with no setup fee. You'll need to be able to add a small piece of code to your site, or give us access to do it.
  • There's no minimum term on either plan. Cancel with 30 days' notice. If you cancel Website + AI chat, the website is still yours: keep it on the $99/month care plan, or we hand over your site files and domain.

The AI chat assistant

  • It answers using the business information you give us: services, prices, hours, service areas and how to reach you. Tell us when any of that changes and we'll update it.
  • Like any AI, it can occasionally give a wrong or incomplete answer. It isn't a substitute for your own quote, and you're responsible for the prices and promises you make to customers.
  • Enquiries it collects are passed to you. What your website visitors type into the chat is processed by our AI provider to answer them, so your site's privacy policy should say so; we'll give you the wording.

Ownership

Once the build fee is paid, or from your first monthly payment on Website + AI chat, the website and its content are yours. Your domain is registered in your name. You're responsible for the accuracy of the business details you give us, including licence numbers, and for having the rights to any logos and photos you send.

Reviews

The review kit is for asking real customers for honest reviews. Google's rules don't allow offering rewards for reviews or only asking happy customers, and we won't help with either.
